I'll be receiving an Air Brake tomorrow I'm excited to try it with my version one. How is the Air Brake with the Mazerati in general, any members with experience. I'll post my findings after I rock out for a bit tomorrow.

Unless I'm running my 'Rati completely clean, I'm using my Air Brake on it. When I'm looking for a little grind, I have the Volume set at 3:00 or higher. That thing is LOUD at those settings. The Air Brake brings it down to manageable levels. I don't really notice a huge change in tone until the Air Brake gets to four clicks or the bedroom setting. At that point, things start sounding compressed and a little fizzy. It's OK for home practice or rehearsal, but I wouldn't want to record or gig w/ it at that level of attenuation.
The Air Brake is essential for non-MV Z amps (and it's pretty great for the MV amps, too, to get that power tube saturation at less than ear-splitting levels).

I would recommend the Airbrake in general for those with a version one. It is great at controlling without coloring the overall sound. Picked it up for 125 bucks so quite the steal, can't complain.
