You must gig on some big stages! Nice array of stuff there. Thanks! I do play a lot of outdoor country music festivals and I also do a lot of outdoor gigs and big stage gigs. I wouldn't drag this to the bar, I'd take a smaller Pedaltrain with the stuff I need. This allows me to cover a wide variety of music and it also doubles as my studio recording board.

Decided to downsize from the PT Novo 18 to the Metro 20. Here's the new gig board. The Dymo labels with the numbers correspond with the dials on the given pedal for my "home base" settings.

Trojan, your board looks fantastic! You’ve got some really solid pedals on there that must sound great.

Trojan, your board looks fantastic! You’ve got some really solid pedals on there that must sound great. Thanks man! My new favorite pedals are the bad bob followed by the chase tone secret preamp. The bad bob by itself a little above unity is my light drive tone, and when I feed the Timmy and ocd into it with the volume cranked a bit more than usual, it just sounds so great and still gives me a volume boost. I have a snouse black box 2 coming in this week. It will either bump the ocd off or the ditto looper. We will see!

trojanhov The Astrotone is awesome! Sometimes I feel that it has too much overlap with the fuzz face side of the Sun Lion, but it’s an excellent fuzz that can be somewhat raunchy or more like a thick overdrive/boost.

Nice board Dean! Give me some detail on the I/O patch points on the upper right side. What jacks did you use, how are they mounted, etc. Thank you. BTPA.COM, has all the accessories. A.C Powerfeed via Neutrik NA3CFCA (PowerCon In, takes a specialized tool to secure the power cord wiring). Then, wired to a 4 position power strip with on/off switch and surge protection. Not a cheap add-on, but clean interconnects, without wear & tear on pedals jacks. btpa.com/Patch-Panels/Un-Wired-Panels/Since original post, all pedal interconnect cables switched from Hosa to Monorail. Never thought this update would have such an enhancement. More note definition and signal strength and somewhat more highs. I thought the HOSA cables would be okay with the amount of buffering on the pedalboard, Polytune 3 input buffer, and Gemini Buffer Bypass. The Monorail cables are worth the investment. Wished I would have done it at the beginning of the build, would have saved some money. Like they say, you get what you pay for. Monorail connector build a little tricky. After building 24 connectors, I had 2 cable failures, with no continuity (I may have nicked the center core during stripping or to many Plug turns when screwing onto the center core). After disassembly of each connector, the center core was broken. I was able to reclaim two of the four plugs using a chopstick (YouTube video demo). The other two plugs I could not recover and had to replace. Updapted pic w/ Monorail cables.

I guess you could say I like Analogman:). I completed this board by him this year and have to say I'm very pleased.

I like having the z footswitch on the board. I can roll the boost knob with my foot and it doesn’t flop around.

Mine is very very similar. I sent this latest picture of my board to Mike last week and he said he was going to post it. However, I don't see it pictured on his Analogman Facebook page. Do you have a direct link?

Here is my latest pedal board. I just added the bubbletrob and the jetter monster. Once I get a power cable splitter I will put the organizer back in line. I cannot imagine ever using the bubbletron and organizer at the same time ha ha so they can share a 100ma power supply. If I ever stop adding and moving stuff around I'll get Patty or Josh to make me up some cables so everything matches.

I finally finished my small Hendrix influenced pedal board. I am only missing the wah. I plan on using one to the side of this board.

Very nice board Randy. What made you prefer the vibe after the fuzz rather than before?

Very nice board Randy. What made you prefer the vibe after the fuzz rather than before? My guess is that fuzz likes to be first in line. I do know that Kyle Chase builds his fuzz box so you can use a wah in front of it though.

Very nice board Randy. What made you prefer the vibe after the fuzz rather than before? The way I use my fuzz it has to be first in the signal chain. I roll back to get slightly broken up tones and also use it as a clean boost. If there is anything before the fuzz it will not react the same way. Kyle also recommends putting the fuzz first. At least with my experience I have always had better results with the fuzz first in the signal chain especially with Germanium fuzz pedals. I mainly use the vibe with the sl drive that’s after it anyway although sometimes I will hit it with the fuzz as well to add more sustain and lead hang time. It was tough finding the right pedals because I could only do 5 max.
