Is that CE-2 MIJ or Taiwan? Black label or green label?

The chorus is one of the original Japan black labels. Purchased new in 1979. I was 17, had it ever since.

Here we go. The 1st one is for bar gigs and such. The 2nd one gets left at the church, so I don't have to haul so much equipment back and forth. These also fit inside these 20" x 14" x 6" sample cases I found at a garage sale. Later............weedman

Here my latest configuration: Just got my AnalogMan King of Tone, but I'm not sure if it will boot anything off of the board. Jzguitar, Do you find that your guitar signal suffers any loss of tone from such a long trip through the board? I too had (what I thought was) a large pedaboard (pic further up in this post) and I did find the signal suffered. I tried to use true bypass looper's where I could but the signal was still so long I found it was modified when it came out the end of the chain. I have since modified the amount of gear on my board (looking of the prefect mix I guess) to try to minimize the signal coloring. I'm just wondering if you find that as well. [glow=limegreen,2,300]-J-[/glow] Hey Sorry I took so long! Everything on the board is either true-bypass or in a loop and I hear a definite loss of highs with everything off, so I usually keep the RC Boost on as a line driver/buffer. That seems to restore everything to where it should be. I've got it set to where it pretty much sounds the same as plugging straight in. I did take the Mosferatu off the board - I found I was using the BB more. So that's ONE less pedal! I'd like to simplify, but the bands I'm with play such a variety of stuff that I pretty much need everything on there. Take care! jz

As is the case with many of you, this is still a work in progress. The H2O will be coming off, to be replaced with a Maxon AD-999 and a Fulltone ChoralFlange; the Tremulator will be replaced by a Fulltone SupaTrem. Signal path: guitar into (1) StarTouch ST-1 A/B box, which has a special tuner out mod to allow the (2) Korg DT-10 Tuner to always be on but out of the signal path; I can click it from B (my normal input) to A which effectively mutes it and allows me muted tuning. (3) Fulltone Clyde Deluxe Wah. (4) Barber Tone Press. (5) Xotic RC Booster #1 (used for EQ-ing and 'tone enhancement'. (6) Xotic RC Booster #2 for boost (which I will likely be routing last in the chain when I re-patch when the new pedals arrive). (7) AnalogMan King of Tone Version 1. (8) Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer, with Robert Keeley's 'TS9 Deluxe' mod (has two distinct settings [see small toggle] and a boost). (9) Visual Sound Jekyll & Hyde. (10) FoxRox Captain Coconut 2 (octave, fuzz face, vibe). (11) Demeter Tremulator. (12) Visual Sound H2O (chorus and delay). (13) StarTouch ST-2 A/B/Y box, routed to Dr. Z RxES head & 2x12 cab and Fender Tone Master 1/2 stack.

A few pedals see rotation (for a OCD or Direct Drive), but this is the basic rig. Usually through my Maz Sr. 2x12, the pictured Sewell, or a Bad Cat Panther (head/cab). I gig 2-3 nights per week playing country with some rock. The pictured Nocaster is the "go to" geeetar.

Hey Jakeddy,
What is the pedal with the beach scene on it? I haven't seen that one in my searching.
Thanks, Travis

Rite-o
The AYA is a Ross clone like a Keeley but maybe better? Dunno, it's a good comp. I use it only on cleans.

Here's an updated version of mine. Tonefactor Nebula, AnalogMan Clone Chorus and D*A*M Drag'N'Fly were replaced by SweetSound MoFaux Vibe, Diamond Compressor and Retroman NuFuzz.

martymcfly, that is one sweet board. Now how did you get the picture to look that pro? Thanks for the compliments. The funny thing is, I took it with our cheap 3 megapixel camera! The credit really goes to the natural lighting coming through the windows of our living room. Also, I try to stand farther away and use the camera zoom to get close, which gives more natural perspective lines and less fish-eye distortion. (Portrait photographers commonly use this approach.) I updated a few pedals yesterday (Korg tuner to replace the Boss TU-2, and I now have it coming off a junction pedal to take it out of the true bypass chain), and I tried to take new pics tonight using overhead room lights, but the pics turned out terrible. So, I'll try again this weekend during the daytime and repost if the pics look good.

Here's the updated board: Teese Picture Wah - Junction box (to Korg tuner when activated) - Lovepedal Minibuffer - Keeley RAT - OCD V3 - Eternity - Doobtone Microbuffer. (The Digidelay is not plugged into the chain, unless I'm planning to use it)

Revised board (sorry for the pic quality - phone camera). This was a flat ATA board. Built a riser over the PP2 for more real-estate - it's screwed together and into the bottom of the board. Made a separate mid-level riser for the Phase 90. The CE-2, Wah and Volume all have pedal plates under them so they're up just a bit more for ease of use. Comp and tuner are pretty much always on so they're out of the way. Vibe/Phaser controls are right by the volume to control w/the ol' foot. The clock is to monitor set time - prevents running over and is a defense when a stage manager decides while you're on stage to quietly cut your set short to catch up on a multi-band show. Case top (not pictured) is filled with dense pillow foam cut to the tier layouts to keep the pedals in place in transit (don't ask me how I came to that epiphany...also reason for screwing down the tier). And it all came in well under the 50lb flight weight limit.
