johnnyl, that's a PedaldoctorFX Tangerine Squeeze. It's basically a Dan Armstrong Orange Squeezer in pedal form... They originally had no knobs, so Tim added a volume knob and a "squeeze" know to vary the compression amount. It sounds unbelievable. I leave it on all the time... ALL THE TIME.

I bought that off ebay from X-Case Wholesale I believe... It does a good job holding the pedals. I did make a trip to Walmart for some foam though. It packs around the pedals when I close the lid down so they don't move around. I go through it once every 6 months or so and clean it up/vacuum etc... Thanks for asking! 6strang

Below is a photo of a Road Ready case similar to the one I use for my pedal board. I also use foam padding to keep pedals from moving around when I carry it to and from gigs. But I discovered something really cool: I bought 4 large, thick car washing sponges (technically not 'foam') which I glued into the top of the case. These sponges don't hold indentations, no matter how long the lid sits atop the pedals, so I haven't had to replace the sponges at all in about 3 years. You may want to run down to a local auto parts store (or the auto section of your local big box) and see what type of sponges they have! Daniel

Ok, Here goes... This seems to change constantly... I'll soon be adding the following: ZVex Ringtone, Pedaldoctor FX Four Speed Overdrive, Digitech Whammy, Electro-Harmonix Memoryman Deluxe and a few expression pedals for the line 6 stuff. This stuff will obviously have to sit on a side board... I'm a bit of a pedal junkie. I swap the fuzz for a Prescription Electronics Experience... pretty cool for that octave fuzz thang. Loads of other pedals sit in crates and on other boards... this is my current big board. My fly board has alot less. What are the tiny thin black pedals you have at the bottom? I'm hoping that they act like switches to completely bypass a pedal out of the chain... Is this true? If so, whats it called and where can I get it? ;D

OK... I'm an old blueser who lives and dies by great cleans and mildly overdriven signals to throw my amps over the top. Here's my board. It's an obscene testament to how great the Z-28 and Stang Ray sound with just a little shove. Except for the Barber compressor and AD9 analog delay, all are either OD's or boosts. Generally, the bottom row is my strat rig (Z-28 or Deluxe Reverb), tele pedals across the top (Stang Ray). But there is considerable overlap. A work in progress, the TIM was actually sold today...the King of Tone and Timmy more or less made it redundant. The MI Audio Boost N Buff has recently been supplanted by a Z Vex Super Hard On (which is my favorite boost for the Stang Ray). The 'Ray is capable of simply stunning harmonics once ya lift her skirt up with the SHO and add a smidgeon of mild Eternity dirt. In the gig bag and not currently on the board is an RC Booster, BB Preamp, Keeley TS-808 (set as a boost), a Klon (set as boost) and a MI Audio Blues Pro.

The latest incarnattion. I love the BB. I tried it in several places, and first after the tuner works best for me. With the other drive pedals, I preferred the compressor before them, but with the BB, I like the compressor after it. It's a great pedal for heavier sounds, or for lead breaks. And the pushed Strat neck pickup sound ala SRV, is very nice. Harold

Here is my latest.........took a year to build and will probably stay this way for a while. (Hopefully!) The Boss Super Overdrive is modded with a Monte Allumns TS 808 mod kit........everything else is AS IS.

here's my addition either a '69 RI tele or a mandolin through it all. depending on the instrument, the Startouch AB sends the signal to the LR Baggs ParaDI or my Maz Jr. 210. hopefully Christmas will fill up the board a little more... karl

Here is an update on mine. I always say I am done (like Lefty), but then I replace a pedal or find something new. I replaced my Klon with the Time Machine.

LeftyLang, seems a simple gig but there are some jewels in!!! I have Clyde Deluxe , OCD and Supatrem too. But..., wow a TTE! Great pedalboard you'd surely rich a great tone. You really keep OCD's volume all the way up?? and BEFORE boost?

You really keep OCD's volume all the way up?? and BEFORE boost? Yes I run the OCD's volume all the way up most of the time. It really pushes the front end of the Route 66. The Time Machine is after the OCD to give me even more volume for solos. I have tried it both ways before & after and I like it this way best. Try running your OCD on full volume and see how you like it.

Yes, I tryed, and like it very much, but I can't because I play often clean, only with RC booster on. And OCD with that volume is very loud, so there's too much volume difference from clean to distorted sound... Do you usually play that dirty/crunch??
PS.: man, I looked at your gig in General Board page, I love everything

I play clean with a little "Hair" most of the time. I can go from clean to 3 stages of dirt with my current setup.

Here's my current setup (Finally got the hosting site to take the upload). This set up is in a constant state of flux. It looks a little like red spaghetti right now it needs to be cleaned up really bad. The 2 pedals on the top Row the AC and Dig Reverb are in the signal flow, the others aren't being used at the moment. I guess you could call me a pedal junkie as this is a fraction of my collection.
