I just got my EZG-50 yesterday and I'm having some trouble that I hope is a quick fix:
When I first turn on the amp, I get weird octave-down, synth-like sounds underneath the low notes. After awhile - it goes away.
Seems like maybe a tube issue that calms down as the tube heats up?
If so - what order should I trouble-shoot the tubes in?
Secondary question, for ordering back-up/replacement tubes - is there anything I need to specify for any of the tube positions, such as balanced/matched triodes?
Thanks

Took it back down to the shop this morning. Swapped out all the tubes, no luck. Their authorized repair guy only picks up on Fridays and lives an hour away. Awesome. Looks like another two weeks and then fingers crossed it gets sorted out then.
Almost sounds like some sort of cross-talk in the circuit.
So. Completely. Bummed.

You'd get it back faster if you shipped it to the Doc!

That's what I was thinking. I have sent an email to Repairs.
