my guitar partner and I are using 4x10's with ours. (but then again, I use 4x10's with everything) I know that doesent help, but I was bored and figured i'd reply anyway! (lol)

"well the last man standing get's to walk on the graves" (m.stanley)
"I have stopped instead of started,
and i have watched my children grow,
stood by graves of friends departed,
and found out just how much I do not know" (m.stanley)

I don't have a Monza (yet), but my local GC has a surf green 2x10 combo that I have spent considerable time on in their little iso room. It has Doc's ceramic 10"s. It sounds phenomenal. Any time I'm in there, I play it. One of the guitar guys asks "why haven't you bought that yet?" every time I go in. It is still there for $1,399, and I think I could get them to come down a little as it has been there for a while. It's been tough on me, but I'm more of a head/extension cab kinda guy.
Having said that, I have two Z 2x10 extension cabs. One is all stock and set-up as a closed-back. The other has Weber AlNiCo Silver 10"s and is set up open-back. Having used both of them extensively w/ a lot of different amps, I like Doc's regular 'ole ceramic 10" speakers w/ the higher gain type amps (and I consider the Monza in that camp - at least the way I would run it! ). I think Doc's 2x10 cab w/ Z stock speakers in a closed-back configuration would totally kick serious A$$ as a Monza mini-stack!

GuitarZ: I'm okay with the AARP letters. You're still living and breathing? What the heck am I to think when a funeral home sends me a free consultation offer? Ouch!

GuitarZ: Reminds me of buying my Honda. When they tried to sell me the maintenance package, I said "Is your car not reliable?" Long story short my wife teamed up with the sales lady to buy the maint package. Never again!

roscoenyc: I have never in my life experienced tube rattle. That said, I've only been playing electric guitar for 49 years.

capofirstfret: I've experienced tube rattle in two different amps that I've had. In both cases I bought the rubber rings from Eurotubes and it fixed it for me.

GuitarZ: Idiot! I wanted to put a little air on my Zoom H1's circuit board to clear out any residual Deoxit from spraying the input connector. Guess which can I picked up to spray. Yup! Not the air can.
