23 Wrecks accounted for in the registry. Highest number to date is beddez's 31178. Mine should be coming directly from the factory soon. I'll let you know when I get it. However, at this point it looks like it may be a birthday amp (March) and not a Xmas amp as anticipated But that's o/k...... Keith

What means the U and/or V?
And is there a maximum Wrecks for each type?

J5 well that would make me the 1st newfie to ever own one...i guess? lol Most likely I don't expect mine to show up before Xmas...but one never knows. If it doesn't, it will just be a nice birthday gift for March 7 Actually, that would be neat since I thought I read somewhere in the past that Dr Z amps officially started busines on March 7, 1988...I may be wrong, but that's what I thought I read somewhere. Jason,
You have the lowest number with a V in the registry. The highest U in my file is U-31043, which is / was in Germany.
Pretty wide space between 43 and 85, so I wonder at which number the annual transition occurred.

So when is the cut off for V, and W to begin? V indicates 2011 production; I suppose there may be a few at the factory that haven't shipped yet. W will be on 2012 manufacture. I don't know what actual serial numbers are associated with the changeover.

Hey you got a BLUE pilot light KeithA. Anyone else got any different colors? Mine is purple! No, it's purple. That pic was taken in a darkened room with flash (kids were watching a movie!) and plus I had to tweak the pic with picture editor to brighten it up..I'll try to get a better pic ;D Keith

Great Strat/Tele/LP/etc. amp!
Have you opened up the volume yet? I sort of find three tone zones: (1) volume up to 10 or 11 (o/clock) staying on the clean side; (2) from there to 2:00 or so, substantial OD on tap and (3) to infinity and beyond ;D
