Are in users' hands at this point? 30? 50? 100?

My dealer, Fat Sound, received 6 in the first batch. Not sure if second batch is out yet. I was told the initial batch is going to 5 top dealers of Dr.Z so I would estimate the total batch size to be around 30. No idea when more is going to hit the streets...
On another thread, Dr.Z mentions he bought about 800 NOS EL84 and he also talks about the difficulty of sourcing 600 NOS 12AX7s so I imagine he is expecting total sales of about 200 over time. These are just my speculative opinions of course. I am more than likely to be totally wrong. Cheers!

Congrats. #17 here from first batch. Lets keep this thread to post the serials so we can have an idea on numbers. Totally voluntary of course.

If I'm not mistaken, the first run had about 60. Some of those went overseas I believe. Now that I think about it, I'm a little foggy on that number, but when I talk to Brent today I'll ask him. The earliest serial number available to the public was number 3. Number 1 went to Brad Paisley, and 2 went to The Gaslight Anthem. You guys are in good company!

This makes markT near celebrity!!! Kudos! PS. #17 is in Japan. I might have the honor of having the first one in this neck of the world.

I like the registry idea. I know this is done with various sports cars, so I assume Dr Z himself would think it kind of cool.
Mine is U 31023, so 2010 manufacturing date (it also says "made 10/10" on the back plate, meaning October 10th or October 2010 -- I dunno), Z amp model 31, and, I assume, #23.

Perhaps a warranty card for every new amp shipped out from Z. It certainly helps from searching for original sale receipts from the dealer in case of needed repair work...just a thought.

Maybe the OP can modify the thread to keep track of numbers posted. So far they are all over the place.

My Z-Amps all came with a Limited Warranty sheet with the SN filled in by hand, that was in an envelope with the Z-Amps Return address and the SN written on the bottom right of the envelope. My dealer made sure I had them when I left their store. Check the box.

I started an Excel spreadsheet, and I've recorded serial numbers and Z Talk names as reported in this thread. #1 and #2 assigned to BP and Gaslight Anthem per post from our friends at Humbucker. From this thread: 4, 6, 17, 23 and 32 accounted for. I'm happy to track other info, such as full serial number, location, dealer, etc. but only if you want to submit it. Mike (doctorice)

Thanks, mojo and hollywood.
Got a PM from Don. There used to be a Z amp registry; I had forgotten. Checked with Matt (lefty) and it may have vanished into cyberspace. So maybe we can keep this one going and then, Z Talk moderators willing, expand it out to other models.
I've got 10 recorded, including BP and Gaslight. Hey, we know frankiestarr has one, so that's 11. Don't know what number, though.

It's just sometimes I do misplace them.Luckly I only had to send back my JAZZ to Z for minor issue, and the guys at Fatsounds took care of it for me.Thank goodness for Mike and Stu.

#16 here resting comfortably in Northern Michigan.
Date of MFG= 10/10/10. I may have to step down from .11s to .10s on my tele as to be in harmonic convergence with my amp........
She'll be chilling by herself all next week as I head to Deer camp.
Only my acoustic and my Browning A-Bolt 30-06 get to make the trip to camp.
