I confirmed that both the Tim and Timmy pedals can run @ 18v instead of 9v. I don't have anything handy to plug it in and hear the difference though
I'm just about to send all my stuff out to have Trailer Trash redo my board.
Anyone ever run one of these @ 18v and can tell me what they thought?
I have tried this in the past with Fulltone pedals (OCD/RTO) and liked it.
Thanks!

I ran the Timmy @ 18V for the same reason I run my FD2 @ 18V: it sounds more amp-like, less pedal-like. Sorry I can't elaborate, it's hard to explain.
I also ran Barber's LTDs this way, again for the same reason.
If you liked the Fulltone stuff @ 18V, you'll probably like the Tim/Timmy @18v too.

That's good news! I wasn't aware of that and I still have my 18 volt adapters for my Fulltone pedals that I got for my VL Pedal Power. Now to locate them

Most op amp type pedals that are build to keep working at 18v (not all of them are, some will just die!) 'benefit' from slightly higher 'fidelity' and headroom. Some guy's like it, some guys don't. It can be more complicated with 'hybrid' pedals or discrete-based designs (sorry to be confusing).
Anyhow, in some cases it's negligible, in others it's significant. I guess it really depends on the design though. In something like a Rat or OCD, it can be far more noticeable than a TS-type, except in those modes where clipping diodes are eliminated (like the fulltone 'comp-cut' mode) where you'll get maximum output since there's nothing limiting the distortion but the voltage the op amp is running, and output voltage can be 18v peak to peak (and that will surely clip your amp's preamp!), when a regular guitar signal is rarely above 1V peak to peak....
I suppose all that makes more sense and is easier to evaluate & digest when you know and understand the inner workings of the particular pedals guts. I guess if you don't, it's fun to experiment and see what you come up with, so long as the 18v is safe for that pedal!

Yup, the Tim sounds great @ 18V.
I run all my OD pedals @ 12V or higher via the VL PP2+ as it's so easy to make the change. On my TT board, I run Zendrive2 (12V), TS9 (12V), OCD (15V), Tim(18V), BB+(12V).

I use to use mine exclusively like that then I used the adapter for My Barber DD. AS I remember, It gave it a Beefier sound. Not that it was thin on 9 Volt but It works easier on 18 the treble ismuch more noticible ;D Thanks for the thread Great Reminder
