I just wanted to let everybody know that after too long of waiting, I'm joining the Rx Jr club ;D I just paid off my order for the RxJr 1x12 combo in Blonde with a Celestion Blue Bell and a Brake Lite. I had to part with my PRS Custom 22 and my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe, but it's gonna be worth it. I feel like I'm 8 again waiting for Christmas! Thanks to everybody who answered my questions, the Z forum is the best! -Alex

Congrats Alex - you're going to really enjoy the amp. I have a Weber 50 watt Blue Dog, not sure if it's the same as your Blue but with the Brakelite you will have a ton of options. My McCartys & G&L's sound great with all my Z's - whatever your remaining axe(s) is/are I'm sure compatibility won't be an issue. Christmas huh? Do you have a delivery date? I'm sure it will fall on a holiday of some kind so you'll have the day off.

I thinks it's a relief that I'm actually getting it though. I loved that PRS, but I have 2 Crook Custom Tele's to help me get the job done The good thing is that on the Crook with the Rosewood fretboard, it's dark and warm sounding, not too far off from the Custom 22.

Congrats! I love my RxJr! I am using it with a Celestion Blue and it rocks. With its awesome master volume you'll find that you won't need the BrakeLite. Have fun!

To me the RxJr. is one of the Z-Amps I bring when I know I'll be switching guitars. I love that master volume and the OD! The trade off of gear is surely worth what you will gain.

I don't think you'll miss the deluxe. I sold mine to get money for my Prescription and let me tell you... wow. It's like the doc took the best parts of a vox, and a fender, and mixed it in with a little bit of dumble. Turn the treble down and it gets dark and voxy. Turn the treble up and it gets warm and fendery in a way that a fender never could. Hope you get too it before your wife does. And if not... there's only so many places to hide a large box in the house ha ha

Thanks everybody! I made a semi-plea deal with my wife as far as Christmas is concerned. She wants a small TV in the bathroom to listen to/watch while she's getting ready. Well we have to do some work to get a receptacle where she wants it, and also the cable run for the DirecTV. Well I told her if I went ahead and got her TV going, if I could go ahead and get my Z ;D. I think she's gonna do it!

Well, I figured I would update everybody on my status. Ordered the Jr. from Richmond Music Center, just got the call Monday that it should be here early next week. My wife is picking it up so I can't see/hear it, but at least it's gonna be there. Also getting the Wampler Paisley OD and the Faux Spring Reverb. Super excited!
