We opened for Gretchen Wilson in Houston a few months back. They had 7 full Marshall stacks lined up behind them, but of course only three cabinets on random ones mic'ed and power wasn't turned on on the rest, but I noticed the guy that played the most actual lead had a Carmen Ghia head sitting on a small cabinet off to the side that was mic'ed and I could easily tell that was his main amp to the front of house.

I bought my Maz 38 here on the board a few years ago from Jayson Chance, who was once Wilson's bandleader. Got a heck of a deal too.

My Band opened for Gretchen Wilson earlier this summer in Ocala, FL and it sounds like this tour she has a different band playing for her. No Z's on stage, but had a nice 65 amp and an old plexi which sounded great too.

That just goes to show you that the Ghia = small amp, BIG SOUND.
