TC's are awesome. No questioning that they have "the tone" for chorus or flanging effects. But, when I was considering one, I ended up buying the Fulltone Choralflange. To me, it can get the same sounds as the TC, and a little wider range overall. I bought mine used on ebay, and thought it sounded great. But then I read about some "updates" that Fulltone does to older models, so I sent mine in. It increased the fidelity even more, and I can't imagine a better sounding unit. Plus, with the Fulltone you have the option of true-bypass via an internal switch if you are running it in a mono application (if you buy the true bypass hype.......LOL) In stereo mode with two amps, it's a thing of beauty. You can't wrong with either the TC or the Fulltone, but I just think the Fulltone is a bit more versatile and a bit "less limited."

My friend and great player Simon Patterson has the TC chorus and for chorus they have always been considered by most as "the" pedal. His sounds great of course. But I love the chorus and any modulation sound you can pull with the Foxrox TZF. With the analog BB chips you get that glorious analog warmth and besides a great chorus, NOTHING does flange like this pedal. All the crazy tape flange effects Eddie Kramer did in the studio for Jimi are there. Its a blast playing with it and live it's always a crowd grabber! It does some interesting leslie and vibes too. Probably the funnest pedal I've ever owned. With the exception of the Heavy Metal pedal I owned when I was 16 ;D
