Well guys, I scored another AC Booster the other day. I had one about a year ago, and I traded it off for something else. Funny thing, I didn't like it as much as I remembered, maybe because I was using it with a Deluxe Reverb (and it sounds great with it). But I tried it again with my MAZ JR. tonight and it kills once again. I think from now on I my rule is to keep a pedal for at least a week to see if it grows on me. Anyone try the RC and BB? I've got the GAS for the BB

Check out this link, very cool: www.prosoundcommunications.com/english/video/allenHinds2/index.htmlI have a AC and BB. The BB has a little more mid scoop than the AC, more of an old Marshall sound. I think the AC is more of a tube screamer with less mids. I use the AC for a little grunt, the BB for mild distortion and an OCD for all out. The BB also has a great sound with the gain maxed out. If you turn the gain down on the BB and volume up, its a cool boost pedal that you can add hair to if you want. I played with the RC at Peeler Music in Toledo, and it was a cool sounding pedal also. I don't have it yet, but soon. I like both pedals for what I do, but everyone is different.

Lefty, the AC is a killer pedal! But for RC, I was shown a Durham Sex Drive. Very nice... Very very nice. Has a built in compressor that can be activated for clean chicken picken. Killer!
Congrats on the AC. It's on my list of goodies to get!

Had the Sex Drive...when I was 18!!!! No really I had one and didn't like it at all, thought it was broke, but was assured by the maker it wasn't. It just didn't have any output as I recall, and no grind. I could tell any difference between the toggle positions.

It's my understanding that the AC Booster has a bit more gain on tap than the RC Booster (what I have).
I haven't tried the AC Booster, but my experience with the RC Booster has been great - it's one pedal (and I don't use that many) that will probably stay on my board permanently.
I'm hoping that the Hellbilly I just picked up from Lefty will be another one.
Hope this helps.
