Just picked up my airbrake from Ultrasound Studios in NYC.
absolutely amazing. Used it at rehearsal tonight with my perscription ES through a 12" Gold. It works better than I could have imagined. I can plug in w/o an overdrive pedal for the first time! I used a little delay but thats it!
I wish I had bought it years ago!

Oh man, if you have an RXES you really NEED that Airbrake. There is so much you can't get to in that amp without the Airbrake. But with it - holy cow, that's a great amp!

Congrat's on your Airbrake carrjimi! I am glad to keep reading all great results with the airbrake. I just order one this morning and will be using it with my SRZ65.

I'm going to use it tonight with my Mazerati 2x10. I'm hoping for similar results

I was going back and forth about buying an Airbrake when I bought my Maz Jr. I ended up buying it (thanks for the advice, Benttop!) and am glad I did. It keeps the peace at home and also lets me reign the amp in for my drummer's (small) practice space.

Carrjimi, I have an AirBrake inbound. How many clicks got you where you wanted to ditch the od pedal? Did you adjust the innards at all or just leave it alone?

Totally indispensable. Don't leave home without it.

I just bought one too, after all the Z pressure i have come under! But, its my last effort on the RX. I simply love that amp to death, and dont want to ever part with it, but its so darn clean, so loud! But so rich. Im really hoping the Airbrake puts te brake on the volume to where i can use it comfortably. My buddy got one recently and he loves it with his JTM.

I wouldn't have a clue how cool my RXES is without having used the Airbrake to explore the outer reaches. RXES with volume dimed and OD on is a very usable sound, but don't try it without an Airbrake!
