Hello everyone, I've been a lurker for quite a while on here and finally decided to join.
Anyway, I've been flirting with picking up a Z for a couple of years now, first wanted a Maz 18 Jr. NR then a RXjr. Unfortunately for my pocket book, the Z-wreck looks amazing and after seeing (hearing) BP last week, I think fighting it is a lost cause.
Anyway, just wanted to say "hi" as much as anything and hopefully I'll be a Z owner soon.

I haven't been around here near as long as some but you will never find a better group of people on a forum. Welcome! You will never be judged or pistol whipped if you keep things within basic forum etiquette. You will also get info from some really talented people which I totally glob on to.
I have a Remedy and a Z-Best cab. I love it and would sell everything else before giving it up.......the tone is just my thing. You may like some of the other stuff depending on your style and music.
Ahhhh the Z-Wreck...... I have an "Unofficial" deposit down on one already and I cannot wait.
Have you played som Z stuff? What do you like?
Peace, Jeff

Hey man, Welcome to the forum!! I'd like to say I'm fairly new here myself, but I guess my posts etc, would deny the fact, but compared to many, I'm a newbie! Anyhow, as Jeff says, this is the best forum populated with the very best people, all inspired by the glorious tone and wonderful ethos of one Dr Mike Zaite and his fabulous amps! Nose around a bit and get the feel of the place - there's TONS of good information, good advice, and good fun up here - it's the only forum I'm a member of, and is very unlike any other forum out there, IMHO. Keep it upbeat and positive and you'll get along just fine If you're considering a Z Wreck, then you are going in right at the top buddy ;D but don't be fooled into thinking the other amps are somehow "second rate" - nothing the Doc does is second rate, and that is gospel ;D ;D Enjoy! Pete ;D

Thanks for the warm welcome gents. I've lurked around here for a while and it seems like a great community to be a part of. I've been a member of a couple of other boards on the net and eventually got tired of some of the antics--so this sounded like an ideal place to join up.
I have played a Dr. Z before--a Maz 18 Jr. I really liked the amp a lot--it sounded great, even at low volumes. I've been really close to pulling a trigger on one a couple of times. All of the clips of Z's I've heard have sounded great, thats for sure.
Over the past few years I've got a decent collection of guitars and and amps (for me at least, I've seen some pictures around here and the net--wow). My go to electrics are a LP VOS G0 (R0), an American standard tele, and an old Gibby Explorer when I feel like being a little rowdy. The Z-wreck seems like it will be right up my alley--something that can go from great cleans to a mean crunch and I'm hoping it will love pedals.
