Been thinking about picking up a Hermida Reverb of an EH Holy Grail... Any body have experience with verb and the Mini? These two pedals in general?

My experience with Reverb pedals is that when an amp begins to distort, the reverb effect becomes significantly exaggerated. Have not tried any of my reverb pedals with my Mini Z, but when my MAZ get's cookin', I tend to shut off the reverb pedals. I have the Hermida, the Neunaber Wet, and the Strymon Blue Sky.
Delay pedals do not seem to do this.
The Hermida is an excellent basic reverb pedal....perhaps at it's lowest setting it might do well with the Mini. It's very good with the MAZ NR.

I'll second that comment by tdarian...I had a EH Holy Grail that I ran on my Mini for a test. I set the verb level when amp volume was 9-10 o'clock and it sounded OK...when the amp volume went to 12-3-dimed the verb level rose with it and got to be a mess...unusable at that level...
YMMV

I have a DD-20 and yes, I've put that into the Mini Z. Worked very well! I still really do prefer the raw sound of the Mini, but a touch of delay...or more can be musical and fun.

I have the Hermida reverb and while it is one of the best reverbs I've ever heard and sounds lovely with my Maz...not so with the mini I'm afraid. As the lads said the verb becomes exaggerated. I too just like the raw sound of the mini whereas the maz takes to pedals easily. My flying dragon is the only one of my sparse collection of pedals that seems to like the mini.

My Lovepedal Eternity Burst out in front of the Mini-Z is just out of control good. Not really "needed", but good and fun. It was great with a Mini-Z combo (the original with the 8 inch speaker) as well.

Well I definitely love my Mini's sound straight in... it's great with the Flying Dragon as well... I've found that it's great with low amounts of fuzz also. Starting to doubt my GAS for a reverb now though.

Found a good deal on a Holy Grail Nano so I picked it up....
First impression is I like it! When used with the verb set at around 8 or 9 on the hall or spring settings it adds a nice ambient feeling, of course when turned up much more it can be too much of a good thing. Oh well it gives me something new to play with!
