Hi, I'm going to play at church tonight and they said that I needed to bring a pod or something like it....
All I've got is a Maz-18 head and an Airbrake...can I use the airbrake as a line out to feed the board?

NO! The board expects line level .... you are going throw vert big watts right into the channel strip of the board and see smoke.

I'm not an Airbrake owner , but I've been using a Koch Loadbox with my Mark III for almost five years in casinos where it is a very contrlled environment. I just got a Maz18NR head and it works beautifully with it as well. Some places are totally in-ear venues where they won't allow speakers on stage or at all. The box provdes a load( I use the 8 ohm model) and it has an XLR DI out that goes to house. It has 2 decent cab model sims - a 1x12 or 4x12 with on or off axis miking. It also has attenuation with 100%,40%,15%,5%, and 2% of your amp's output that you can send to your cab if you use one. I always prefer hearing my speaker but I often use the DI to simplify and keep myself working in places other people are using Pods ( I now I have Z tone for the casinos) Regards Joe
