I can not say that I have ever thought "if only I had a presence knob". I can dial in the sound I want with no issues as is. So I would have to say. No, I like it the way it is.

I never played the original SRZ with a presence. I like my 6545 the way it is =)

Y'know, I'm not even going to try to say that I can isolate it to the "Presence" control, but my old SRZ has a certain something that the 65 side of my 6545 doesn't quite have. I'm happy with both - just talking about the difference between excellent and amazing. Might have to do with Presence, and it might not...
Cheers, Blair

Hum a Spit Vote. I don't use it much on my amps but I do give it a bump here and there. I'm still looking for an older SRZ, I've had some good offers on the newer ones but I just like that old school look.. thanks guy's.

Just to chime in from the SRZ-65 side of the thing, The Presence control puts the finishing touch (literally!) on the amp's feel with this or that guitar and the speakers you plug them into. It's not a night-and-day difference but if there is one thing I tweak at all on my SRZ when I switch guitars it's the Presence. Because I set mine up for a thick, pretty compressed tone, without the Presence the Bass would get a bit mushy.
