How much would/should a 6545 head in really good condition cost? I'm testing the waters on trading my RxES head for one.

I'd say $1400 to $1500. I paid about $1500 for mine in really good used condition (about 18 months old when I bought). These seem to get a pretty high % of the original list price in good used condition...maybe the highest of any Z that I know of.
Good luck on the hunt!
Cheers, Blair

I'm very happy with my 6545 and suspect it'll be with me for a while. I would like another RXES but am working on a stangray head for the timebeing. That rxes combo w/master on ebay caught my attention but my bid didn't meet the reserve.

They have to be one of the most versatile "rock" amps ever made. 2 great amps in one. One side a clean to crunching Hi-Wattish tone and on the SRZ side cascading gain for days like a hotrodded JCM800.

I'd sell you mine for $5,000. Yeah, it's probably not going anywhere...
