This is something that has been on mind for a while. Where do you normally use your 6545 and with what kind of speaker set up? Personally, I play outdoor shows, churches, and various homes for band practices. I use my 6545 through a closed back 2-12 with Weber Alnico Thames and an Airbrake. Just curious what other folks are using and how it is working for them. Especially, since the 6545 is such a "LOUD" amp in the first place. A true stage amp if there ever was one.

yeah, that's very true. I'm not really using it so much right now, the Ghia is completely holding court for me. Admittedly, I'm in the honeymoon.
The last time I used the 6545 was a few weeks ago, airbraked, in full band rehearsal, going into a 1x12 mesa cab with their "black widow" speaker. But, I've got something coming up where I've been told the other guitarist runs Marshall 4x12 stuff, a rock thing...6545 + Zbest will be schlepped out, finally!

I think the Marshall dude is in for a nasty surprise! "Your 6545 Wants To Kill His Marshall" (Doesn't quite fit unless you want to turn it into 5/4 which would be very Zappa anyway ;D) I know the guitar player who used to play with Dweezil quite well. Sorry, hijacking thread....continue. I'd like to hear this rock band Terry.

Ha, that's a great name for a band! Get Timmy from South Park to do your promotions. He can walk around and say "TERRY" ;D
