Anyway to manipulate the 45 side tones. I play a PRS custom 24 and a Lespaul with burstbucker 2&3's. The 65 side is PERFECT!!! The 45side is very trebley/bassy(making up words), and tunnel sounding. Any thing I can do to the preamps or something? After I do that do I have to take it to someone to bias it? Thanks!

I used to own a 6545 & found that the amp is very sensitive to changes in your guitar (as are all Z amps). Try messing with the tone & volume knobs on the guitar. If you can split the coils try doing that as well. You might want to try a different EF86 tube for the 45 side. I know that Z always uses great tubes in his amps so unless the 45 side is microphonic or totally unbearable I would venture to say that there is nothing wrong with the tube.
Let your ears be your guide. I continue to find lots & lots of amazing tones in my Z amps. All I had to do was break out of my way of thinking about tone & start using those knobs on my guitar.

For what it is worth, I changed out the EF86 in my 6545 to a NOS GEC EF86. Truly a great improvement in tone and overall performance. I got the tube from Mike at KCANOS TUBES. httP://www.kcanostubes.com

Yep - me too - that tube is also in my Z28. I second the recommendation, fwiw.
