Thanks, gonna pick up a pair myself. My original tubes are becoming microphonic and they are winged c's as I have amp number 19 which is one of the original ones.

They arrived today. FAST shipping wow. I was surprised that I got Fender / Groove Tubes, but sure enough, they have the Winged C logo and they say Made in Russia.
Are these just as good as SED branded Winged C 6L6GC tubes?

If you had any idea how many of today's "name brand" tubes are also nothing more (or less) than relabled Svets, Sovteks, etc., you'd not even ask.
I.e., they're not merely "just as good as SEDs," they *are* SEDs."

Heck, remember when you could get RCA's that were Mullards, and Baldwin's that were RCA's and the list goes on. A label is a label. Can't wait to bias these babies and toss em in my amp!

Biased the Winged C 6L6's. They sound wonderful in my 6L6 amp. Definitely a good deal.

You get more good Karma for passing this along. :-) Thanks again. As you said, for $20, why not score a pair as a spare set.

I ordered a set of SED 6L6's and a few JJ ECC83s/12ax7's for $9.95 for a amp that I'm selling. I biased the amp plugged in my axe strummed a A chord. Amp sounds great!!! Thanks for the tip!!!

I've only heard amazing things about the SED 6L6s. Props so far to good experience with the more recent Chinese 6L6s though, ugly as some of them are. Anyhow, I've been wanting some of these tubes but balking at the price, but these SED C 6L6s are just too good to pass up on. I don't even have the funds, but I pulled the trigger. Thanks!
