I have had an airbrake for a long time but I sure do like the braklite. Mounted in my combo (new cab with my old head in it). I asked the Doc and he said there should be no difference but in my ears sounds almost a bit more transparent. Not sure why but really like it. Another one is on the list for sure for my other cab just in case I ever get my Monza head.

Indeed, I'm very much enjoying having one in my Maz Jr NR - perfect for around the house playing, but handy if I have to take it out to a jam or gig. It is one of those products that just does what it is supposed to do and stays out of the way the rest of the time. Great product!

I agree that the Brake Lite seems more transparent than the Air Brake!

Just ordered another one today. Putting it in my 2x10 Z-Cab. I too will be getting one shortly. I've read up on a few ideas as to how to use it with a head-cab set up. Considering that I prefer the sound of the closed cabinet, mounting it inside the cab is not a possibility. So to remedy that, I am thinking of bending myself a steel bracket that would mount over one of the panels, using the same bolts to secure it down and bolts to secure the BL to it. As I assume this unit will generate some heat, bending it in a square U shape 2" wide or so should be enough to dissipate the heat. A quick trip to the powder coating shop in town should do the trick for a nice black finish. Maybe an idea for the Doc to offer it as an accessory if it works out of course! To be continued.. Ben
