I just bought a Z-Verb from a guy here locally and I am amazed! I play through a amp built by Bill Keck here in Nashville. The amp is a 2-10 custom 59 Bassman circuit running about 30 watts. I used to use an old Premier model 90 reverb unit from the 60's and it was a sweet sounding unit! I sold it and have regretted that sale ever since. I have been looking for a replacement, but getting a vintage unit without a boat load of problems is difficult. I saw the Z-Verb for sale and was semi skeptical whether a new unit could capture the thick lush verb of the old school units. I am no longer a skeptic! This Z-Verb is every bit as lush and fat as any other unit i have ever heard (this includes to OG Fenders, Premiers ETC)! It is completely silent until you put sound through it. I was also impressed with the quality of the build itself. It is built like a tank and you can tell that a lot of LOVE was put into it. I love this thing and will never sell it! My hat is off to the DR! I would love to see how some of his other amps would work for harp.

Glad you are digging the Zverb! You were definitely giving it a good work out at the house and your harp skills really sounded great. I'll definitely try to get out and here you play a gig this spring/summer.
Cheers, Steve

Nice! I'm really pleased with it. Hope to see you at a show sometime! Keep me posted about that old Masco if you decide to let her go.
