I've had this amp for a few years now and have been meaning to post pics. I'm curious if it is rare, as I've not seen any SRZ65 combos here. Rare or not, its a fabulous amp.

Every Dr Z is fabulous.
I'm no expert but I would have a guess and say that you are amongst the very few SRZ owners who have that amp in a combo with reverb!
Anyone else? Ask the Doc, he will get back to you before not too long.

Hey,
Cool amp! And welcome to the Z forum too.
I own an SRZ-65RH (reverb head) that dates to 1993 (serial starts with "D").
What letter starts your serial #?
No doubt this is rare in the combo configuration.
These old SRZs are just killer!
Cheers, Blair

The serial # starts with "F" .. I think it was made in '95. If I remember correctly, on the inside of the chassis it says it was built for George Bradfute, who plays with Webb Wilder. I am the second owner. It is my first Z so I didnt really know what I was getting, other than the sound just blew me away.

Karma for stumbling on a great amp! I played through Blair's last summer and it was out of this world great.

I love my SRZRC, It Looks pretty old school next to yours Clay. Mine has two greenie's in it and was made in 91, I'm told it was the 7th one made. Black with Metal grate grill and a nice piece of hard wood trim under the controls. These dogs love to Hunt! The Red looks awsome Clay!--------Chili

Those G12H speakers are some of the best I have ever heard. They have the punch of a V30 and the fluidness of a Greenback, you are a lucky man!
