Just built a 5watt Champ clone amp from a kit and it sounds great with Master, volume and Tone all dimed but its way to loud for home practise . Have been using the airbreak on the lowest bedroom setting and its still to loud with everything dimed,so I've ordered the London Power Scaling Kit for the amp and will probably fit it tomorrow . Has anyone else used Power Scaling in their amps and what are your thoughts on it.

I didn't try the scaling, but opted for the Brake instead. The thing I like about the Brake is that you have the option to exclude it from the path if you want. Scaling is 'always' there, even when not 'engaged' I suspect they are pretty similar, so I opted for the latter. Besides, if I want 10 amps to be scaled, rather than pay for scaling 10 times...I buy one Z Brake Keith
