I can now make a comparison between the two units- Brake Lite and Weber MiniMass. To compare them I used my Z-28 and Ghia heads with an open backed Red Fang 112. The results? Each seems to work better with one amp better than the other (or vice versa) The Ghia, a bright amp, works well with the Weber, as the MiniMass rolls off the top end. This doesn't sound at all good with the Z-28 for back pu rhythm work, and overall rolls off too much top end. The Brake Lite I find a bit too bright with the Ghia, but with the Z-28 is great- crisp and detailed. An interesting fact is that this same comparison is even more obvious when using a Univibe clone with the heads. With the Brake Lite, the Ghia+ Vibe lacks mid drive (less effect), but is lovely with the Weber. The Z-28 loses far too much detail with the Weber, and again the Vibe gets a bit lost. Horses for courses? Brett
