Picked up a couple and put them in the important slots on my 65. Wow i'm impressed these were a much bigger upgrade than I imagined, I don't think they're quite as smooth as the real thing but they definitely sound great.

chris... I'm glad that you've had good luck with them so far. Every GT12ax7m that I bought went south VERY quickly. Hopefully the next batch will yield more stable tubes. As much as I love NOS tubes they wont be around forever & my wife is getting a little annoyed with how much I spend on NOS tubes just so "I have them for later". Try selling that to a woman who wants to have the bathroom remodeled.

Try selling that to a woman who wants to have the bathroom remodeled. Keep in mind that even though NOS tubes will not be around forever if you have two or three 12AX7 types they will last forever I don't care what anybody says .... current production tubes from ANYBODY will not have the life of tubes from "yesteryear" if there is such a word Over at GT we continue to work on the M and have made so many changes that I have lost track. But .... they now have the original plates and gold grids in the most current batch. If you have any M's left that had issues just call GT toll free at 1-800-459-5687 and ask for Rick and he will rectify the issue.
