My Galaxie is arriving today, i am taking it out and gigging this weekend. I have an Airbrake, a compressor, and an xotic AC Booster.
should i run a reverb pedal in front or not? also, does a delay do well in front?
i am excited to gig this amp and am just wanting to discuss gigging.............c'mon weekend!!

The only issue with reverb is if you have it cranked and are playing on Ch1 then switch to Ch2 it's going to amply that reverb and sound strange. I set my reverb to play on Ch2 so when I switch into it, the sound doesn't go off into the woods.

Congratulation guitarmannebr. The Galaxie takes pedals well. I only use keeley compressor, tremolo & ep booster. Work the tone knobs. their a lot sound in this amp. I've been gigging with it for two years. Channel 2 ROCKS. Play around with it and let us know what you think.
Cheers, Richard

thanks for the mojo guys.
interesting about the reverb setting for channel two. i would have never thought of that. makes perfect sense.
i am going to gig this amp with little to no time with it. i love it!! i have researched the amp's settings on this forum and figure with so few knobs, there has to be good tone straight out of the box. it is staring me down at work right now................
i am figuring on using the airbrake as a master volume and let this amp rip.
we are playing classic country, modern country, and classic rock. should be a hoot.
i am using a strat and a les paul, so i hope the settings are good to both.

my initial settings are going to be
ch 1....1 to 2 o'clock ch2....10 to 11 o'clock
all tone knobs at 12 o'clock
pentode mode.
adjust airbrake to taste.
compressor and drive pedal set to low drive with slight boost in front
then..............let 'er rip
