I agree with the post below - really great lead tone. I love the 65 side, but I'd like to be able to get a little more presence (real high end) out of the 45 side. I use noiseless fender style pickups sometimes, and they just don't cut. The lead tone is great for me, but I really need a bright and full clean sound (like a fender).
Is there any way to achieve it, through tube changes, or maybe a slight change to the circuit, like a bypass cap....? Thanks

Hey you can increase the by-pass cap on the 45's Vol. pot from 500Pf to 1000 pf or .001 uF, that out to bright-up a Strat ZING.

Oh, here's my post. No wonder I couldn't find it, it's in the wrong forum. Thanks for the tip on the bypass cap, I'll definitely give it a shot. I really like the design of this amp (6545). It's got everything I want, and nothing that I don't need. Any plans for a combo version, or a on-off?

I did try change the bypass cap, and it sounds right. I'm going to try it out with full band on Friday night. Thanks
