Ill start by saying I love my EZG50. Strat or les paul. Dont matter.
But....
Ive been having these weird noises when playing at moderate volume levels. Sounds like scratching noises. it gets worse when i play up the neck. I think it could be tube issues. also a little bit of rattle. Kinda weird that this also happened with my other z.
Any ideas?

No idea, but what other Z did you use that had the same issue? Did you figure it out on the other amp?
By the way, my EZG-50 is on its way back to Dr. Z as the reverb is having a 60 cycle hum issue. Drama. Sigh.
Love my Z amps though and can't wait for it to come back.

Yeah my reverb is a little noisy as well. Its a MAZ jr just bought it. Im thinking it might be a tube issue. microphonic pre amp tubes maybe.

just lightly tap each tube with a pin or pencil and see if they are microphonic, probably a tube thing, unless something wierd is loose.
