...Ten speakers in all and the Red Fang 10" did the best overall. We did pick a special designed 10" alnico low wattage 10 for the Mini combo, and the Ragin' Cajin' as the stock speaker for the new 10" extension cab, which can double as a 10" combo cab. Z This is good stuff to know. I ordered a Monza with 2 Extension Cabs and assumed the Red Fang was going to be in those Extensions. I am going to convert one of the Extension Cabs to a combo. I am curious about the conversion option and if the chassis mounting holes are pre-drilled and if there is a dummy plate, etc. etc.

The mounting holes are pre drilled, just not poked through the tolex on top. We are going to make a video to show the conversion. It's very straight forward to do.

No sure of the price yet or the speaker options if any, but I have two coming. One will be immediately converted to accommodate my Z28, Ghia or Mini and the other will be the base for coolest piggy back I could have!

This was from the guitar digest review...
Since it will be available in other configurations and we had a 1 x 12 and 2 x 10 Dr Z combo around I hooked the Monza up to each. For me using the 1 x 12 with a Celestian G12M30 I thought the Red Fang sounded better, The G12M was a little too bright for me and had more upper mids than the Red Fang. A G12H30 was better, more lows and lower mids, but I still preferred the Red Fang. With the 2 x 10 with Dr Zs the amp sounded massive. I mean wow. The sound was definitely louder and more potent, with tighter bass, crisper highs and a more scooped mid sound that made the amp sound different but still wonderful. I would give serious consideration to the 2 x 10 if you are not concerned about the extra size and weight. You will also be able to get it with two Red Fangs for an upcharge.

Been thinking about getting one of 1x10 cab's for my ghia to make it a little easier to throw in the car. Currently using a celestion blue for the speaker, any thoughts about what 10" speaker might be best with the ghia? I spoke with Humbucker Music and the Red Fang is an upgrade to the cab.
Right now, am thinking about getting the red fang. Or, as they say, "if it's not broke, don't fix it" and man up and just throw the 1x12 cab in the car.

Another great thing is the cleats on the X Z-Cab run all the way on both sides, so I'm going to cut a piece to close it. In other words it's also convertible capable!!
COOL BEANS!!

Hmmm.... updating my amp specs here this morning, and the ONLY specification that I have yet to see is the weight of this cab without a head mounted in it. Hey Paul, throw that thing on a scale will ya?
