I am wanting to add an SRZ to the fold more all the time the sound is just awesome... Thought I would ask you guys that have them..
Would a SRZ and a Maz Jr get along???
I know the power of the SRZ to Maz is a bit different but would the SRZ overpower the Maz??
I want the higher gain crunch of the SRZ but love the cranked clean with hair that the Maz provides love hat EL-84 shimmer...

The SRZ's Master Volume is pretty good. In my opinion, it's better then the one on my MAZ Jr NR. So, they could get along quite well. Of course, as w/ any amp, the SRZ sounds better not being overly restrained by the MV.

I new you would say that muzacman02 lol.... I should just listen to you... I just think it would be kinda different to match a 18w amp with a 60w amp in the same rig.. I am running the Maz jr with a 45w Flatstone amp right now and it works real well.
Just a bit concerned about the possible big volume difference...

The Master Volume on the SRZ is amazing, it works well with my Lil 30 Watt Stangray! The Maz Would be a great Companion cause the Maz Clean tones are shimmering as where the SRZ wont be as clean, just think of it as semi Clean with a Lil Hair on it. Just because Your Odometer in your Corvette Reads 160 doesnt mean you have to take it there?? Its Knowing you can! ) With one stomp on the Katana your in Crunch Heaven!

Oh so true muzac..... oh so very true.....Once I am back home from Christmas and New Year's with the family I am going to try one out and put it through its paces...
Am excited cause I want to rock one really bad but have to save for awhile...
The one bad part of having custom parts guitars poor trade/resale value when you start thinking of want to get a new baby... Guess I will have to jsut hold on to them lol..... :-)

Yeah I am not getting rid of anything unless I absolutely don't need it anymore... Got lots of stuff that i used and need for the versatility I want to be able to have...
Need a nice EL -34 amp(SRZ) and a guitar with 'buckers like an SG or LP and something that is a hollowbody either Gretsch or something...

Thats what Alot of people said when They asked about the SG, My new PRS has Moon Inlays, People say Oh I just Love the Birds? It doesn't make it play or sound better, I could have no fret inlays. The SG is a great Guitar, A good friend has it so I know it will be returned soon. You should check into the Specials, They come in Heritage Gloss Cherry and The Low Wind 490T/R's are great for country to rock. New W HS Case $1300 oh yeah and dots LOL! Is the SRZ in your house yet???

The PRS stuff is so Good, They are very higher fret accessible just like an SG. The DGT Pickups are AMAZING! As you roll the volume back you get this TELE quality from a Humbucker! Yes and great PAF TONES!!!

In 95 I used some "student loan" money to buy a guitar.....I looked at and played about 20 guitars.... a PRS 22, and a Gibson Less Paul Standard were the final two I narrowed it down to......Both were sweet and sounded similar ....I bought the Paul and ruined it by putting in EMG's.....I think I would have been very happy w/ the PRS..... I'm a Strat guy now.....One thing I know for sure is they All sound killer with the SRZ !!!!!!!!...Turn it up and rock on!!!!!!!
