Alright Rich! You got me I give up? Have you ever Tried a Cestion Gold with the SRZ? I'm thinking of putting them in one of my Boogie Cabs coupled with 2 EV EVM12's! It sounds huge now with the V30's on top but it doesnt have thats sizzle that the Alnico's give!

It sounds huge now with the V30's on top but it doesnt have thats sizzle that the Alnico's give! Gold is next on the speaker acquisition list! The Gold was actually at the top, but I liked the SRZ w/ Greenbacks so much, that the G12-65 bumped it down a notch on the purchase list. Niner plays the SRZ w/ Golds. He says he really digs them. While I want a Gold to try w/ the SRZ, I can't imagine liking it more than how much I'm liking the G12-65 in a 1X12 cab. To me, it's a tighter, bigger bottomed Greenback that's safe to use w/ a 65watt amp. What more could I ask for? ;D

I did use mine with a 4x12 Greenback loaded Masrshall Cab it was Huge, But every since I aquired these Old Boogie cabs The y Have EV's in them and V 30's I haven;t used the Marshall but I do have 2 Greenies in my 2x12 Red Open Z cab which I use with everything! and two Greenies in my other Stereo Boogie Cab which is a split design for running two amps, The Greenbacks Overall from High to Low are My Favs! However The Golds may just replace one Greenie! I think it would compliment each other, 65 Amps run their 2x12 cabs that way 1 Gold and 1 G12H 30 Greenback What an awesome sound!

For the past three or four rehearsals, I've been using the SRZ exclusively through the Z 1X12 Convertible w/ the 12-65. The only thing between my Bluesbird (which sounds amazing through the SRZ) and the amp is my Boss TU and Xotic BB+. This thing absolutely ROCKS! Having been a Marshall fan prior to my Z conversion, I must say the SRZ blows all my old Marshalls out of the water. It has the articulate "crunch" that I've been looking for in an amp. Sometimes I find myself looking back over my shoulder at the amp just amazed at what's coming out of it. It's one of those amps that inspire the player to play to new levels (which I can really use w/ my mediocre playing ).

MY BB+ is #1 with my SRZ it gives it just the Sizzle it needs! I may couple a G12H with a gold in 2x12 Cab so I can use instead of the 4x12 which is being used less and less? I would like to have a 1x12 cab for my Stangray for just like taking to jams or rehearsal like you mentioned above. The $$ hard to come by right now though, Merry Christmas!! THE SRZ!!! RULES!!!
