Maybe you know Jaye, or perhaps you have noticed Taswegian here in the Z forum. But did you know he has made some ripping good music with a Route 66? Go here, click Play All and turn up the volume. www.broadjam.com/artists/songs.php?artistID=3906

Jaye's music is awesome! Well written tunes, great playing, tone, vocals and a great overall sound. Jaye's music is the reason I'm thinking of adding a Rte 66 to go along with my Maz Jr.

hey Jan, thanks for the bump! I'm insanely busy at the moment and none of it to do with music. My lady has set up a new business and I'm shift workin' away trying to help her out and keep food on the table, and suddenly my 9 year old is swimming, basketball, soccer, etc. I've also taken to running some track and field on the side just to try and stay healthy. I guess my mid life crisis is getting a real job and putting family first!!! I will only be able to stay away from music for so long though. Plan on doing some new things around mid year. If I remember how to play guitar I recently did a cover gig and played possibly the worst I have ever played.

The first song I heard from Jaye floored me instantly. You can tell almost instantly if an artist has "it" IMO and Jaye's got "it"...a whole lot of "it". Go over to www.myspace.com/jayechristopherhanson and check out "My Unwanted Friend". (which sounds to me like a JCM800. Jaye?) It's got that Nuno Bettencourt-like groove that I love that makes you want to drive faster. Awesome.

Wow Phil, that's an amazing compliment.
The guitar on that track is pure Route 66 and grosh Set Neck into Z-Best. One track with a mike on the G12H and a second track with the mike on the V30 to get that full "Z-Best" effect.
Phil, take your Grosh Set Neck, plug into your Route 66 and Z-Best, crank all knobs to 3 oclock and that should be the balls to the wall "Unwanted Friend" tone
don't forget to tape up your windows ;D
