Dumb question probably, but I got a little confused by an earlier post. My initial understanding was to size the air brake (ie, brake lite vs regular) based on the amp wattage. But I think I saw a post where there was some discussion about the speaker wattage being a consideration. It is just the amp wattage, correct? So, for example, if I have a Maz Jr running through a cab with oversized speakers (from a wattage perspective) I could still use a brake lite, right? On the verge of buying one and would rather look dumb here than after the sale...

Correct. Determine which model to buy based on the amplifier's output power. That would be the only deciding factor - either model attenuator will work with a Maz Jr (for example), regardless what speakers you plug in there.

Thanks, Steve! I like it when it's simple!
