I'm still trying to talk myself into selling my '67 Super Reverb & Mini Z to fund a new Route 66. I still can't make myself do it. I have another '65 Super Reverb in my amp arsenal, but my love for Super Reverb is deep. Maybe you guy can talk me into it?

If you're keeping the '65 I could see letting the '67 go. I used to have two Black Face Super Reverbs and sold one. Oddly I kept the ratty one, figure that one out. Too big and heavy to haul around anyway. But, I have two 1957 Bassmans and I don't want to let either go so I understand the dilemma. How about a home equity line of credit to buy the new amp. Mine is 6% simple interest so the finance chargrges are minimal. Of course if you default you lose your house!

Bamabluesboy, as soon as I got my Rt66, I wanted to sell my super clean 66DEL Reverb.....to get a MAZ Jr NR 2 x 10............The sale of the BF would have covered the new Z plus some change.......I don't play the deluxe much......although its a huge part of may past and It does sound narly with a les paul, cranked through a z best 2 12!
Anyway, once its gone its gone for good.........and I only paid $350 for it...........so its staying.........I'll save gig money and in a year get the "maz"......
However, if I had 2 deluxes of the same vintage........I'd keep the best sounding-cleaner of the 2 and sell one to get the "Z" The RT 66 is gonna be one of the greatest amps of all time........RT66!!!!!! C'Mon , this is a SERIOUS amp! You can AB the super and the Route66........serious tone!
.........let me know if you wanna sell the mini......
hope this helped........
