Hello to all,
I know what power tubes sound like when they age from long hard use. What happens when a rectifier wears out? What are the tonal consequences?
Another note - how the heck do I post a reply to all of your replies? What button do I look for, because I don't see a "reply" button . . . ?
Thanks again, and maybe this time I'll respond!!

To my understanding, for the most part a rectifier tube either works or it doesn't. There's not alot of in between. I will say that if your amp still has the original Sovtek rectifier tube that it came with, replace it with a NOS tube. You will notice a difference in how the amp performs, and NOS rectifiers are supposed to last for years.
As far as replying to messages, if you're logged on and don't see the reply button, right click and refresh the screen. That usually brings up the repy button.
