Has anyone tried the brake lite in a super reverb? I have a '65 blackface, and I'm wanting to try it but I'm not sure it will handle it. From what I understand the super is a 45 watt amp, and a 2 ohm cab. The wattage does not concern me but the 2 ohm load has me worried. Any thoughts? Thanks.

4, 8, and 16 ohms only. About the only attenuator out there that works for a 2 ohm load is the THD Hot Plate. You have to buy the one specifically for 2 ohms.

I was going to buy an attenuator for my 68 super and discovered the same dilemma regarding the 2 ohm load. I bought a Maz18Jr with reverb instead
