Just bought Stevez's blond/black RxJr and 2x12 cab, and so far I am in LOVE.
Each note just sings!

Uh huh! ;D ;D ;D ;D With the options of the master volume, the OD switch, and dropping 5751's in the 12AX7 spots, you have so many tonal options it's crazy. Enjoy

Yeah, what is there not to love about that rig? If he was willing to ship both the cab and head it would have been mine along time ago. Glad to see it stuck together and slowly making it's way south.

Yeah it is seriously a sweet setup. The master volume is perfect for quietness when needed, but there is more than enough volume/headroom for my gigs. And the Blue's give it just the right amount of mellow+bite. Glorious!

Rich, Glad that the RXjr rig is working out for you tone-wise. Also, the blonde with black faceplate combination is a work of art in its own right. Sounds like the amp will now get the playing attention that it deserves as it was feeling lonely since I switch to my Benedetto and Acoustic Image/Raezer Edge jazz rig... now I just need to learn some more of those 17 finger jazz chords Cheers, Steve

Seems like the RxJr would be one of the more versatile Z amps. I can't even plug in my Galaxie when the misses is around the house- it gets way too loud too quick. Great amp though.

Yep, the RxJr is great like that. Also I hate that misses crap. I have a bigger issue with living in a condo, but that is her fault also. Heck if we lied in a house it would be as simple as F'her I'm jamming. As it is I make her wear my Bose headphones to watch tv if I want to play at low volumes during the evenings she is here.

We live in a decent sized house and she can go upstairs to get away from the playing, but sometimes it is just TOO loud. One time recently she said that she couldn't even answer a phone call b/c of the volume. Whoops! So now, unless we have it arranged, I try to play as quietly as possible when my wife is home. It shows good character to compromise (ie makes her happy) and I can still crank up whenever I am alone/at band practice/gigs!

Sounds like a you need to spend your next bit of money on some type of sound reduction.
I have, "good character to compromise (ie makes her happy)" that is why I live in this stupid condo. She likes to take day time naps and I'm quiet or I leave, so there I feel i give in and compromise more than enough. My living conditions are majorly holding me back.

I hear you. I used to live in a one bedroom apartment. No way I could do much of anything loud in that place and my guitars and drums gathered dust. Although that didn't stop my neighbor below me from blaring Britney Spears at 1am.
