Congrats on the new amp.
If you like the sound of 12s with it, I would definately try the Zbest. That was my favorite 2x12 cab that I have heard my EZG through. The Zbest is one loud cab though, especially with this amp.
One of Doc's recommendation to me with an open back setup was to use a G12H and a G1265 together in a 2x12. I haven't tried that yet, but I do have a 1x12 cab with a G1265 which I really like with the EZG.
I didn't really care for the EZG through 2x10s. I'd go with 4x10s if you are thinking 10s.
Hope that helps Matt

That's how I feel....The bass is just like sub-sonic. I run it all the way down with humbucks, and between 6 and 9 O'clock with single-coil guitars. My buddy Michal Bay (EZG user) turns his all the way down too...I bet you could use it as a bass amp, if your bass player's amp broke and what sound great !

It is a GREAT Baritone amp, many Nashville Bary players have EZG's. I trying to get a video from Gary Hooker ( BP's guitarist) demoing his baritone. Z

I just got the email stating that the amp and cabinet arrived. It's perfect because there's band practice tonight.
Frankie, on your videos I noticed that the bass is all the way down. I thought "Wow, that's weird" before I got to play one of the amps, and now I realize it's not weird in the slightest.
I never thought of using the amp as a Baritone machine actually. I bet it does sound just amazing. *spending wheels turning*

Oh Joel. I think I'm a single coil guy permanently. I don't know if I can get a JP6. I might still end up with one though. We'll see.
I can't believe how small the 4x10 cabinet is. This thing is the perfect size! I will have to get my digital cam out and take some pictures to make people drool over. The black/tan head and black/black cabinet is very yummy. OM NOM NOM says Pac Man!
Fantastic amp, Z! I think I'm done hunting and searching.

These quotes are the most interesting to me. I had a Fuchs ODS to directly compare it to. How and why did you have a Fuchs to 'compare' it to? The guy decided to not sell the EZG-50 after my rave review of it. Hahahaha. Interesting. Very interesting. There are a few holes in your story which means I have to bust your balls a little bit, Tim. I also figure you didn't know I was on this forum which makes it all the more hilarious to me! Enjoy the amp bud! I know how stoked you are about it.
