I have a EZG 50 head on its way, going to use it for my blues tones and clean stuff. I am not against using it in stereo with one of my plexis assuming it takes pedals as well as discussed here. First question is I have four different 4x12 cabinets, for you guys who have tried the head with a 4x12 which cab would match best. 1 Alnico Golds 2 Vintage 30s 3 G12M Greenbacks 4 Hellatone 30/60 mix Also looking at my pedal board are any of these pedals going to cause any issues with this amp.

Welcome to the Forum Surf. Nice pedal board.. It's good to see you finally got you a Z in your arsenal. I wish I could help you on the cab choice. I can only speak for the Remedy. ;D
However I am sure somebody can help you out here.

That Hellatone mix should be a pretty good setup.

My Orange 4x12 has vintage 30's in it and it sounds great with the EZG-50. For shows though, I tend to bring a 1x12 or Z-Best 2x12 for the obvious size and weight reasons. Plus matching gear (brands) looks nice...but doesn't really matter.

Also, I should add- the EZG-50's clean sounds (in my opinion) are best before the Post control is maxed. The higher the Post control, the louder and more distorted the amp becomes. The two controls pre and post are interdependent of course, but the gain jumps into the equation as the Post gets higher for sure.
I bring this up b/c I have noticed that the EZG-50 & 1x12"clean" sound is amazing, but if you are going to run a 50 or 100 watt Marshall (or clone) next to it, you may lose the EZG-50 in perceived volume. If you are at a show, the FOH engineer can just mic both and blend to taste, but just a heads up! They are a great combo though, especially if you can attenuate the Plexi or use power scaling, etc.

Well it came it today and I just spent a few hours getting to know it, WOW. Really a amp that can cover anything. I like its natrual gain and found that adding overdrive was not really nessassary.
As far as the cabinets they all sounded good, I am going to leave this one with the Alnico Golds because the cleans are just so warm with that cabinet.
