I know some folks choose not to mount their Brake Lite vertically in a cab. I was wondering if it would be ok to mount it to a small piece of square wood and let it lay on top on my amp head? I have two 2x12 cabs and one 1x12 cab and I would like to use the Brake Lite with all three cabs and not have to permanently install it in one of those cabs. Any thoughts?
Maybe I can screw/mount it on a small piece of wood, then use high quality velcro on the brake lite and the cabinets. That way it can be removed from any cab at any time but the velcro should still be able to hold it firmly in place.

Works great for me! Ah, perfect. I guess I'll need to get out the ol' saw. Can you tell me the dimensions of that piece of wood?
