I have had my EZG for a few weeks now. I am still absolutely floored by this amp. I believe this to be Dr. Z's masterpiece. I am blown away by some of the used prices I am seeing these amps for.
I bought it with a 2x10 Dr. Z cab (which sounds great) but for me, this amp comes completely alive with 12's. It seems like two different amps. So far I like it best with a Greenback or a G12H 30 watt in an open back cab. I have also tried it with a V30 which sounded good, but not nearly as rad as the others mentioned.
To my ears, 12's sound like rock and roll and 10's just don't quite get it done. The 10's don't have the same high or low end that a good 12 gives you, either clean or dirty.....and because of that, they seem way to mid-rangey and honky sounding. I am glad I bought the 2x10 cab. It will give me some more options when recording (I have been able to get some pretty decent results mic'd up), but this amp will be rocking the 12's 99% of the time.

I love mine through the G1265...it really shines. I have a love/like relationship with the 210. Somedays I really like them, while other days I love them. Cool post. Paul

I have mine running through a 2X10 cab and a 1X12 cab at the same time. When I do run the cabs one at a time it is like having multiple amps.
