I am in love with the Maxon TOD-9, and a Maxon VOP-9. Maxon pedals sound great, are built solid. And my RX ES LOVES them. It inhales the TOD-9(set for a little break up) which I use to push the VOP-9(set for a little more crunch) for my lead tone. Completely unreal. This amp doesn't NEED help from pedals, But they sure play nice together! Try out the maxon TOD-9, You won't regret it.

The Lovepedal Eternity OD works great with the ES, you have to be careful because Sean @ Lovepedal has about 20 variations of this circuit, i.e. the Fuse, the Kalamazoo, ect.... I have the original pedal which features Gain, Level, and Glass pots. I run the level about 2:30 -3:00 o'clock, just a bit of gain (you can add to taste, from bluesy od to fat punchy chunk) and I keep the Glass all the way backed off (again, add to taste since this is actually a treble boost circuit and not much of that is needed with the ES for sure !) different speakers will effect obviously. Great OD though !!

I'm really happy with my Fulldrive 2 through it. I have a Timmy in the mail from Paul C that should show up early this week and I'm excited. I'm pretty attached to the FD2, though, so the Timmy will really have to be something special to stick around...

My ES works well with all my overdrive pedals.. The Sonic Edge and Zen drive being my favourites. I also have an old Rat, King of Tone, Love pedal custom and they all sound great..
