Just received Delta 88 #6 from hymns (John). It is the one formerly owned by Myles - what a great amp. I thought it was going to be a LP amp but it really sounds great with my strat! As for volume - really not as loud as what everyone was saying - I have an air brake and the wife was able to stay in my music room while I played it and that says a lot because she definitely does not like them loud when she is sitting there! Thanks for the quick shipment John!!

Congratulations Mike. I had the pleasure of playing Shanon's 88. It was a great sounding amp and didn't need to be loud to get happening tones.

It's really a fun amp - I've had it set on 9 o'clock using my airbrake - love that sound! I've set it up with my Remedy as the A/B - can cover most tones with that combination

Howdy, Does the Delta 88 sound similar to a Twin?

I played Mike's 88 today and I was totally blown away!! That was probably the last Z I would consider before today, but not now. That amp can bring the goods at all volumes, and like Mike said, it's not that loud.
Too bad Z stopped producing them because it's a great amp for sure. I'm a believer.

It's real versatile and quite manageable w/ an Air Brake.
