I've always hoped you built a verb+trem amp, and here it is! Very very cool! The video demo of BW was great.
Just curious... with such a "vintage design/tone" (meaning, kind of F-ish with trem & verb), why the SS rec instead of tube?

Well, I am not the Dr, but my guess is to get the half power functionality using the same design as the Remedy.

I'm not the Doc either, but he did mention that once. Doc loves 6V6's; they've got that unique sparkle and a great low midrange but on some designs the low end can get loose. The Doc knows how do design around this; the Z28 for example has no such problems. For the Remedy/JAZ power section the Doc went with the SS recto to give the amps a great tight low end. This *could* lead to the assumption that the amp would be too "hard" or not have enough sag. That's not the case at all. There's other things you can do in an amp circuit to give the great "broken in" feel we all love even with a SS recto, and the Doc did a great job here.

All that makes sense to me. And "too hard"/"no sag" was a concern. Sounds good!

The Remedy (which I may have a few hours on ) feels *great* with Strats, P-90s or humbuckers. I don't have my JAZ yet so I don't have a ton of hours on one to give you a detailed report, but it's essentially a MAZ front end into the Remedy back end. Going by my Z-Fest experience I can tell you that the JAZ sounds fantastic. Not long now....... ;D ;D ;D

Z said it's like a Remedy with a Maz front end. Knowing a little about the sound and feel of the Remedy and the awesome saturation available with the SS rectifier, no worries at all. When Buddy played it at Z-Fest it was a thing of beauty... especially with 2x10! Models wish they had a low end this tight! Plus the built-in swamp!

I've only seen the videos, but... Agreed... the 2x10 killed, and would definitely be my choice.
