Wow! It was the first time in a while and we were doing a mess around/learn how to mic a guitar amp lesson. We went from Trower to Police to Paisley with just a few pedals (Zen & Comp for Trower, delay for all, boost for Paisley) with just twists of the knob. I never would have thought of really lowering the controls on the bass and mids, but it worked very well! One thing I did notice was that the amp has so much body even with an open back cab with an alnico speaker! Just reminded me how great this amp is!

Yea I haven't got to crank mine in a while, but I remember recording with my RXES through a Marshall 4x12 cranked and it was amazing. Can't wait to get my open back cab.
