Picked up a Goblin a few weeks ago. Cool amp but I must say that when I opened it up I was a little dissapointed. Compared to the wiring the Doc did in my SRZ I don't see why they charge $550 for this amp. It's all PC board crap. Also, I can't get the tubes to bias right - I get a 6mA difference between both tubes no matter what value I try to bias them at. Myles said this was probably due cheap parts. My SRZ biased perfectly w/ only a .4mA difference between both tubes. I wish I would have just saved the extra $150 and got the MINI. Oh well... maybe I'll win the Xmas one.

Apparently other users were similarly impressed. Reverend dropped their amp business to focus on their very interesting guitars.

I have an old Reverend hellhound combo. It's nice but really nothing special. I also have a Reverend Drivetrain pedal that I still think is better than most but they discontinued that also. I think most of their business now is going to be their Korean line of guitars which are actually very nice. I'm not sure but I think they would have done more volume if they'd have kept their dealers instead of going direct. There still are a few dealers. In Kansas City Mountain Music Shoppe is still a dealer.

I also have a Goblin. I haven't opened it up, I don't do any of that stuff myself. But, I am pretty pleased with the tones I get out of the Goblin. It's very portable and versatile with the Schizo switch. I love the Marshall type tones the Mini gets, and I'd like to have both, maybe someday! I got the Goblin while they had a rebate, so I payed $500 for mine, and like I said, I'm not disappointed.
