I'm sure I'll be posting a follow up thread later tomorrow and some clips in a week or two.
That's all I gots to say about that.

I can't wait to hear your Mazerati through your Blues. I think if I had tried them when I had mine, I might have kept it despite the weight. I had the 2x12 combo and that thing was HEAVY! Looking forward to your clips!

Jason (I wish I could be there to see his expression when he opens that box only to discover that I sent him a Hot Rod Deluxe.... ;D ) It's a great amp Jason and it really pained me to part with it. Just couldn't justify an amp of this stature (i.e. cost) sitting around here and not getting used as much as it deserved. I'm gonna have to stop reading the Mazerati section of this forum so I don't get seller's remorse.

What's this Fender doing in here?!?!!? Unless Fender makes Red HRD's with only 2 knobs, then I'm pretty sure I just unpacked a Z ............Hang on, let me play a chord here............... Yep, it's a Z No man, thats one of the sweetest amps I've ever played through..... Not quite a Stangray, but more like the Stangrays tough little brother. I've got a Red Fang in there now, but I plan on running it thorugh my cab to hear what the Weber Alnico blue and Silver bell sounds like. I couldn't really crank it, but I will tonight (I hope). Not to offend the Maz Sr owners, but this is the amp I was looking for when I got a Maz Sr..... It sounds more harmonically rich and chimes a bit more and has a bigger bottom end, but it is a little stiffer and thicker in the upper mids - which is a good thing. It arrived just in time for me to get used to it before my gigs this weekend. I have a small gig on Saturday where my Stangray 2x12 may have been too big, so every little bit of space counts and this Mazerati is going to be PERFECT. And then Sunday I have an acoustic show that I play some electric too that this will be perfect for too. I'm gonna have to stop reading the Mazerati section of this forum so I don't get seller's remorse. Thanks man, I'll try to talk it down some until I know you don't check this section any more....... Then I'll unleash the reviews. Jason - a proud new Mazerati owner.

pics? Is this a combo or a head? Here is Jason's new amp, chilling on my deck in the autumn sun before disembarking on the brown truck for Missouri.

pics? Is this a combo or a head? This has nothing to do with Jason's amp but it's a cool photo of a couple black 'n tans. Okay, I guess I better get back to work now.

Last year at this time I was playing a Mesa Boogie Road King...... So I went from this: Front Back: To this: And I'm happier with my tone..... and yes, I knew what EVERY little knob and switch did on that Boogie too! I think I'll post this pic in the lounge, cool comparison.
